WALKING

Walking North York Moors

We are blessed with countless walks in the vicinity to Beech Farm. Direct from the village of Wrelton, there are two beautiful walks - one on a public footpath to the neighbouring village of Sinnington, and one that leads through a wooded valley. The North York Moors starts just two miles up the road and whether you are looking for a gentle stroll or a challenging hike, coast or country, hills or flat, a country pub en route or a sedate tea shop, there are plenty of options to keep you busy.

The Guardian published an excellent feature on the best 10 walks around our location while the North York Moors website provides the following excellent downloadable maps for walks with varying degrees of difficulty:

Under 3 miles

3 to 7 miles

Over 7 miles
