ClaireLN11, Apr 2022: "Fantastic place to stay! We stayed in Fat Hen for 4 nights at the beginning of March. We had discovered Beech Farm through Google and are so pleased we did. All the information Graham and Kirsty sent prior to our stay was really thorough and it helped us plan our holiday. It was great to have a high chair, cot and blackout blind provided for us and we arranged a Tesco delivery for when we arrived.

The cottage was lovely and so clean. The extra touches on arrival such as having some milk and tea provided and the brownies were a lovely treat. We made use of a lot of the onsite facilities during our stay and being able to have some private family time in the swimming pool was a bonus. The honesty shop and the playroom were absolutely brilliant and we enjoyed being able to take some of the toys back to our cottage.

We are definitely hoping to return to Beech Farm again in the near future. Thanks Graham, Kirsty and all the staff for a brilliant stay!"

Susie R, Apr 2022: "This place is wonderful for families with young kids. This place is just wonderful for a break with young children. We stayed for a week with a 6 year old and 2 year old and I really can’t fault it. From the play room, to the animal feeding and the Easter treasure hunt, they have thought of everything to make it fun and easy and relaxing for families. The cottages are furnished really nicely (lovely linen!) and very well equipped. Kirsty and Graham were warm, accessible and very helpful hosts. There is a great pub with food a few steps away. It’s more pricey than average self catering but completely worth it. I hope we will come back, and so do our kids! Thank u Beech Farm x.

Nick B, Apr 2022: "Amazing stay with friends and kids. From previous experience I’m not really a UK break fan but Beech Farm was faultless from start to finish. The organisation, friendliness of the people, array of facilities, thought of the layout and quality of the fixture / fittings were all exceptional.

If the weather is moody then there is plenty to keep all ages occupied and if your out and about you are within 15-30 mins of multiple picture perfect villages, classic seaside towns or varied visitor attractions. Excellent food is also just around the corner at the local traditional village pub if you want to stay closer to home of an evening.

I could go on and on but if you are wanting high quality good value accommodation, with facilities to suit all ages, perfectly situated, ran by people who have a passion and clearly love what they do then do not hesitate to get involved. If your only negative is your 7 year old in floods of tears getting put into the car to leave then you know you have had a holiday that will live long in the memory."
