Josh R, Nov 2021: "Fantastic cottages - the perfect getaway. We found this amazing place by accident and so very glad we did it’s the most perfect base for exploring or chilling out depending upon your mood. Our three sprogs loved their time in the pool, burning energy in the park area and spending time in the games room (which has a great selection of books, jigsaws, kids toys and for the big kids we enjoyed the tabletop football and arcade games.

Without doubt though, the memory from the week (for the kids) will be feeding the animals each morning and especially the hens (looking for eggs and cooking them the same morning was a real treat). The cottage was just out of this world. It felt immediately like home. All furniture and fittings are really high spec and everything is incredibly clean. Noting at all could be faulted.

We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for next year whilst still here… we cannot wait to come back :-)"

Massetti family, Oct 2021: "Wonderful holiday with family and friends. A fantastic holiday with the family and with friends. We booked both the Farmhouse for 2 families (4 adults and 4 kids 14,12,11,9) and Bracken Brow for ourselves, 2 adults and 3 kids (13,12,8). The swimming pool was the perfect size for all the kids to enjoy some time expending their energy bouncing on inflatables, and the allocated slots worked very well. The play barn was a lovely addition to the complex and had a huge selection of books and toys for the kids.

Kirsty and Graham were very thoughtful hosts and we were made to feel really welcome (the brownies on arrival really didn’t last long). The kids insisted on getting up early every morning to help feed the goats and chickens and loved spending time with the small animals (thanks to Sarah’s patience ). The cottages were secure and a great place for the kids to have some freedom. There was plenty of space in the Farmhouse for us all to get together in the evenings. There was so much to do in the local area we’ve decided to book for next year.

PaulBraydon, Sep 2021: "Perfect family holiday. We booked Beech Farm on the recommendation of friends and simply cannot fault it. My wife, two year old son and I stayed in Beech Royd and the cottage was absolutely perfect for us. Being over 3 floors our son could have the bedroom at the top and nap and sleep without disturbance from us using that rest of the cottage. From the moment of booking Graham was really helpful sorting out a cot, high chair, blackout blind and stair gates. The cottage is spotlessly clean and having seen the team preparing another cottage between guests it’s easy to see why. They spend a long time cleaning each cottage from top to bottom. They have thought of everything from Nespresso pods and dishwasher tablets being provided and even a pint of milk and delicious chocolate brownies. There is a smart TV for Netflix and Prime Video users. The facilities are amazing for adults and children alike, the pool is huge and our son had an amazing time, the outdoor play area is big, safe with large grassed area, trampoline and wooden tractor to climb and play in. The indoor playroom has lots of toys, again it’s spotlessly clean and our son happily played in there most days. The opportunity to feed the animals each morning is great for animal lovers of all ages and my wife particularly enjoyed getting to feed and cuddle Wilma the guinea pig and I enjoyed a fresh egg in the morning from the chickens. The honesty shop is a great idea for anything you may have forgotten or a sweet treat, they even have frozen croissants and meals ready for the oven. All of the team are really friendly and nothing is too much. We’re already booked for next year and can see why they have so many repeat visitors."
