Towns
Historic York, fashionable Harrogate, foodie Malton, and popular tourist market towns like Helmsley and Pickering are all close to Beech Farm. What sets all of these apart from many of the country's cities is how they maintain a personal and independent touch - they are not dominated by lines of the ubiquitous national chains. Coupled with the character of the historic architecture, they offer much more than just amenities.

Villages
You can easily lose a day in some of the area's most beautiful villages too. You can enjoy traditional Yorkshire hospitality in local pubs serving homemade cuisine and many of these have independent stores to browse or from which to pick up essentials.
Hutton le Hole, Thornton le Dale, Hovingham, Staithes, Goathloand, Osmotherley, Sandsend, Robin Hood's Bay, and Rosedale Abbey are amongst our favourites but we encourage guests to explore for themselves and feed back what they enjoyed.
