Beech Farm is an award-winning complex of eight luxury holiday cottages on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Our properties blend the charm and character of historic farm buildings with the comforts and conveniences of modern life (high speed wi-fi, smart televisions, dishwashers, Nespresso coffee machines and high thread count Egyptian cotton linen).
Our guests enjoy exclusive access to our array of family-focused on site facilities - indoor heated swimming pool (with built-in spa), indoor playroom/games room kitted out with role-play/crafting area, toy/book library, arcade machine, table football and big screen, farm-themed playground with in-ground trampoline, sauna, table tennis and daily feeding sessions with our selection of animals.
Beech Farm is located in the centre of a picturesque village (with a pub just round the corner), just outside the market town of Pickering in North Yorkshire. Within easy reach are numerous charming towns and villages, beautiful open countryside with superb walking and cycling, fantastic food from Michelin-starred restaurants to the world's best fish and chips, historic country houses, some of the best beaches in the country, and abundant attractions to keep guests of all ages busy and entertained.

Something for every family
We have eight cottages at Beech Farm - ranging from five bedrooms down to one bedroom. All are furnished to the same discerning standard, blending traditional rustic character with modern conveniences and luxuries.
Families are our focus at Beech Farm and we supply 'proper' wooden cots, high chairs, stair gates, bed guards, baby baths, step stools etc free of charge.

Keeping you entertained
Our on site facilities are for the sole use of our guests. Our pool building houses a 10m indoor heated pool (with spa) and sauna. For the children, there's a purpose built indoor playroom/games room (role play/crafting area, toy and book library, table football, arcade machine, and big screen), a farm-themed playground with in-ground trampoline, table tennis, mini football pitch, and feeding sessions with our array of ever-popular and friendly animals.

Beech Farm is located in the centre of a quiet village (with pub), yet close to countless attractions. Whether you're after scenic countryside rambles or wide sandy beaches, bustling market towns or beautiful tranquil villages, country estates and gardens, or theme and water parks, steam railways or zip-wires through the forest, Beech Farm is blessed to have it all on its doorstep. Catherine, July 2022 "Just keeps getting better. This was our 3rd visit to beech farm cottages and hopefully not our last. It just keeps getting better! This year the bar was raised by kids craft activities, a movie night, giant garden games and a visit from a pizza truck. Our kids love the indoor and outdoor play areas and the small animal sessions and of course the pool! Additional flexibility now as you can use the pool anytime rather than timed slots.
The cottage (Tanglewood) was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. We honestly didn’t want to come home. Thank you to all the staff and we hope to see you again in future :)"
Farrah C, July 2022: "A wonderful experience with our 18 month old daughter. We had a truly lovely time at Beech Farm Cottages. We stayed in Tanglewood cottage which was very cosy and had all the amenities you could need for home away from home. Travelling with a toddler isnt light but they provided all the bits & pieces we needed including cot, baby bath, changing mat etc...
The site was extremely well looked after, with the most amazing play room which my daughter just loved. It had things to keep everyone busy from tiny toddlers, to grown ups too. The outdoor play area had a lovely mud kitchen, slide and trampoline which we spent most of the day on!
The best part of our trip was the getting to feed the sheep and goats every morning. Graham and Kirsty make sure everyone gets involved and they are full of enthusiasm.
All in all we had such a lovely stay and we will definitely be coming back again!"
Kate S, July 2022 "Family trip with 4 and 1 year old. We have just returned from the most wonderful 4 days on beech farm. Our cottage, beech Royd was lovely and very cosy and the playroom and pool were superb. The honesty shop and laundry is a lovely addition too.
Feeding the goats every morning was a great way to start the day and there are so many things to do with the kids locally as well.
Kirsty, Graham and Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful and we had as much fun as the kids did.
We will be back next summer without a doubt and hopefully for much longer than 4 days!!"
