Location - Beech Farm Cottages are in the small village of Wrelton in the valley leading up to Rosedale Abbey and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park (2 miles up the lane).  The village, which was listed in the Doomsday Book, faces south sheltered from the exposed moor land weather.  It is also far enough away from the coast not to suffer from the sea mists.  The nearest town is Pickering, 3 miles away.
